Season 7
Recasting its titular pair with fairly seamless results, the famously unpredictable Rick and Morty settles into a holding pattern that nevertheless still yields plenty of amusing invention.
Season 6
Bookended by some memorable serialized developments, Rick and Morty's sixth season has a lot of fun in between as it explores whether the universe's most toxic genius can actually grow as a person.
Season 5
Rick and Morty starts showing signs of fatigue with an uneven batch of adventures that are often more crude than clever, but a major shakeup to the status quo helps this season finish strong.
Season 4
Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland hit pause on serialized storytelling to focus primarily on self-contained exploits, which hit far more often than they miss in this uproariously funny season.
Season 3
Rick and Morty dives into new and even kookier cosmic dilemmas in a third season that interrogates familial bonds, love, and nihilism -- treating all existential topics to the series' trademark serrated wit.
Season 2
Rick and Morty gains even more slimy layers of complexity throughout its sophomore season, with the dysfunctional duo knocking heads and diametrically opposed philosophies during a string of intricately hilarious misadventures.
Season 1
Rick and Morty zaps onto screens and makes an instant impression with its vivid splashes of color, improvisational voice acting, and densely-plotted science fiction escapades -- bringing a surprising amount of heart to a cosmically heartless premise.
